COLLECTION OF PERSONAL DATA VIA THE WEBSITE AND ASSOCIATED PURPOSES.
The conference website « 2021 SPT – Technological Imaginaries », 28-30 June 2021 (2021spt.com) is required to collect personal data concerning you, and in several places on the site, each time with a very precise purpose:
The latter collects your name and e-mail address, as well as the « object » and the content of « your message » (which may sometimes contains personnal data) .This information is necessary to be able to contact you in return and to respond to your requests and questions as soon as possible.
It collects your title, first name, last name, email address, affiliation, address, Zip code, City, Country, in order to process your registration request, to be able to draw up an order form, a payment confirmation and an invoice (if requested by you via the « contact » box of the website) corresponding to the services selected (type of conference registration), and correctly record your payment. The informations collected through the Conference registration form also allows us to interact with you by email and inform you about the conference preparation and organization, as well as the details of your intervention (if you are one of the speakers at the conference).
« 2021 SPT – Technological Imaginaries » conference fees include the mandatory SPT membership, which covers membership from June 2021 through December 2022 (if you have already paid your membership dues for 2021, your portion will cover your dues through December 2022). SPT Membership assumes that the Society for Philosophy and Technology (SPT) knows who you are, and can communicate with you by postal or digital means. We therefore share with the SPT your name, affiliation, address, country and email, so that the SPT can finalize your membership, be in touch with you and give you access rights to the services it offers to its community of which you become a member by registering to « 2021 SPT – Technological Imaginaries ».

« 2021 SPT – Technological Imaginaries » website contains links to third party sites or documents published by such third parties. We have no control over these sites and we are not responsible for their content. The Catholic University of Lille cannot be held responsible for any damage or loss that may result from the use of these links.
In the necessary and legitimate framework of the online activities and the organization of the conference, as well as to fulfill the conditions of registration to the conference which include membership to the Society for Philosophy and Technology, the Catholic University of Lille shares your registration data with three third parties for reasons strictly limited to the two aforementioned purposes : 1) its subcontractor, Dr. Olivier Boisard, in charge of the management and the webmastering of the conference website as well as its registration plugin Weezevent, 2) Weezevent which makes technically possible the registration and online payment processes, and 3) the Society for Philosophy and Technology for the participant’s membership to the society and the attribution of its rights.
Other third parties which may collect and process data from the conference website are WordPress, Standard WordPress Comment Form Function, Zoom, Crisp and Youtube. We do not share any personal information of conference participants with these third parties.
ABOUT THIRD PART SOFTWARES AND EXTENSIONS USED BY THE WEBSITE
The Standard WordPress Comment Form Function allows loged-in users of the website to leave comments and questions while attending a live stream plenary session on the Plenary page of the website of the conference « 2021 SPT – Technological Imaginaries », 28-30 June 2021. The standard WordPress comment form function does not collect your data, but it does enable and store questions and comments of a scientific nature from participants in plenary sessions, shared publicly and addressed during live streams to the SPT21 community or keynotes. The content of the questions and comments will not be kept beyond two weeks after the Conference (28-30 June). They will then be deleted between the 1st and the 14th of July 2021.
LIVE STREAM RECORDING, RECORDED VIDEOS AND ACCESSIBILITY
Presentation videos provided by speakers to the « 2021 SPT – Technological Imaginaries » organizer are intended for legitimate and limited use within the parallel sessions, panels and plenary lectures of the conference. Except for the plenary session videos, with the consent of the plenary speaker(s), no videos of the conference presenters will be shared in the public domain. Only registered participants of the conference will be able, by logging in with their identifier and password, to access the presentation videos provided by their authors in the parallel sessions and panels on the conference website.
The videos of individual presentations viewed in the parallel sessions and panels will be made available no later than 24 hours after their first screening in the framework of the conference, and will be available for consultation for 3 months by all registered conference participants. At any time, the author of a video presentation, or a speaker recorded during a plenary session, can ask the organizer to remove his video from the conference website. To do so, a request can be sent by email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Live discussions, debates or question and answer sessions in parallel sessions, panels, breakout rooms or Meet-the-professor sessions will not be recorded.

DATA CONSERVATION DURATION
Your personal data information is archived by the Catholic University of Lille for a maximum period of 1 year. Its subcontractor does not archive your personal data, and the day after the end of the conference (July 1, 2021), he will delete from all the digital or physical media of which he is the owner, all the personal databases to which he has had access during the conference for the purposes of necessary communication tasks and management of the website.
